This was taken in St. Germain L'Auxerrols Church near the Louvre. When you view this interior shot, think about death. I was fascinated with this church, then was horrified to learn that it was the place of a massacre. In 1572, hundreds of Huguenots showed up at the church for a wedding. While they were there, supporters of royalty showed up and killed everybody inside.
