| Photographer
- Background: Ronald Dupont Jr. is a state and national award-winning
photographer, recognized for both his news and feature photography skills.
- Relationship with Client: Ronald will work with the client
to provide the types of photos desired. Some clients want obviously posed
shots while other clients want photos that look more natural. The 3-D photos,
by their nature, are vertical, so there will be some constraints on how much
can be included in a single photograph. The 360-degree photos, by their nature,
only work on PCs. They're not compatible with a Macintosh.
- Labor Rate: $75 for the first hour (minimum one hour) and $50
for each hour thereafter, billed in one-hour increments. This rate is for
local work only. Obviously, if a client lives out of the area, there will
be additional charges. Also, keep in mind that this is the "labor rate."
This does not include the charge for the photos themselves. Those rates are
listed below.

| 3-D Red-Blue Images
- Background: Much labor goes into creating a single red-blue
image. After Ron takes the photos and then develops them, he must hand-scan
each photo, then digitally cut the photo in half. Then each half of the photo
is fed into a program that creates a red image and a blue image of the photo.
From there, Ron manually moves the images into place until the 3-D effect
is created when wearing red-blue glasses. (Tiny examples are shown above.
Full-sized images can be found at http://www.ronald-dupont.com/3d.htm.)
Ron can send the images to the client via e-mail as attachments or place them
on a customized CD-ROM. The rates for the red-blue images are as follows:
- E-mailed As Attachments: The client will receive each red-blue
photo via e-mail in high resolution format. This presents the crispest, sharpest
3-D image. Charge: $10 per photo (minimum 10 photos)
- Created on CD: These make great gift items. Ron will create
a customized CD-ROM featuring a client's photo or logo as the CD's "image."
(To see samples of other CD "images" Ron has created, CLICK HERE.) Once a user opens the CD, the photos
will be presented so that anybody with a computer and Internet browser can
view the photos as if they were viewing them on the Internet. Because the
photos will be on CD, the photos will load quickly. Users will be able to
view the photos on pages that feature the client's logo, name or any other
simple art elements that the client wishes to be featured on each page. The
photos and navigation will be similar to what you currently can see in Ron's
France 3-D work at http://www.ronald-dupont.com/fr3d.htm
(minus all advertisement and Website imagery). Charge: A one-time
charge of $12 per photo (minimum 10 photos), plus an additional $5 per custom
CD. Each CD comes in a thin jewel case.
- Red-Blue Glasses: Simple red-blue glasses (made out of paper)
are 50 cents each. There is a reduced rate if you're ordering more than 100.
If you want high-end, durable plastic-framed red-blue glasses, the charge
is $8 per pair of glasses.

| Original 3-D Images
- Background: From the mid-1800s to the 1940s, millions of people
were taught in school with what were called "stereoscopes." The stereoscopes
looked somewhat like wooden binoculars. (You can see one by CLICKING HERE.) With these instruments, you
would stare through two pieces of glass on one side, looking at a double-image
photo on the other side of the instrument. The result was eye-popping 3-D.
Today, those stereoscopes sell for hundreds of dollars on eBay. But a modern-day
stereoscope exists, produced by only a single company. Viewmasters, by the
way, are simple forms of stereoscopes.
- How It Works: Ron's photography at the client's location will
produce double-image photos that are four inches high and six inches wide.
Each photo can be placed, one at a time, in the modern-day stereoscope. For
many, the 3-D in the stereoscope is far superior to the red-blue images. To
see what a modern-day stereoscope looks like, CLICK
HERE.
- Rates: Like the custom CDs, the modern-day stereoscopes make
great gifts, particularly on the corporate level. Because only one company
makes these stereoscopes, the cost for each viewer is $45. There also is
an additional charge of $2.00 for each double-image photo (minimum 10 photos).

360-Degree Photos
- Background: Ron also is one of a select group of photographers
nationwide who has been taking immersive 360-degree photos for several years.
Taken with a digital camera, these photos allow a person to "virtually" sit
in the middle of the photo while viewing it on a computer. The user can then
move their mouse and look in any direction, up or down, in front of them or
behind them. To see dozens of examples of Ron's work in this area, go to
http://www.ronald-dupont.com/ipix.htm
- Rates: $20 for the first photo and $10 for each photo thereafter.
Remember, these photos can only be viewed on a PC computer. They do not work
on Macintosh computers. The rates for these photos apply whether the client
simply wishes them e-mailed as attachments or included in a customized 3-D
CD. There is a charge of $5 for each customized CD, featuring the photo or
logo that the client desires to be the CD's "image." (To see samples of other
CD "images" Ron has created, CLICK HERE.) Each
CD is placed in a thin jewel case
